Turn Around Time is about 8-12 weeks - We Are Working To Speed It Up

Romper Chronicles... Part 1

Posted by krystal shaw on

Today was the first day working in our office space. I woke up this morning dreading the fact that I had to actually GO to work, and do the unspeakable.... put on a bra 😩! I braved the clasps on my bra feeling like a Marine going into battle. I believed in myself, I repeated “I can keep this on all day, I CAN keep this on all day” I got my son ready for school and was ready to go myself by 7am, sucky part was my daughters school starts later so I gave her a hug when she woke up and left her in the hands of Dad.

When I got to the office, OH WAIT! Y’all I stopped to get a breakfast taco and the guy was totally checking me out! He so wasn’t cute but it still made me feel good lol don’t judge me. Anyway I got to work feeling like Beyoncé when I walked through the door. This Brand that I created had its own life and guess who is queen of this world 🙋🏾‍♀️ ME! I had it all planned out. I was going to cut out Rompers like a machine because we are behind thanks to the big move. I was going to completely ignore my phone and do nothing but cut.

It SO did not go down like that 🤦🏾‍♀️ part of being the Queen of this RR universe is helping all of the Queens that buy the Rompers so I spent a good couple hours handling romper crisis.

Yes that’s a thing!

Missing Rompers, damaged Rompers, and Leo’s that don’t wanna act right! After all was said and done I helped every customer to the best of my ability, and cut out about 40 Rompers/ leos before I had to leave Boss mode and return to mommy mode and go home.

It’s definitely going to be a learning curve figuring out how to work away from home after being home for so long, but it’s so exciting! Now when I get home I can’t run upstairs and sew or cut or hop online and update orders. I’m so used to working 12-14 hour days I’m not sure how to function. However, I’m very excited to find my new normal. Hopefully it’s more time in front of my kids in the evenings instead of the sewing machine, less stress since I’m not always at work now, and maybe even more time to love on my hubs 🙌🏾

Oh and yes! I kept the bra on all day! #winning
